Not for the first time a Caribbean criminal has filed for asylum in another country claiming that as a homosexual he would be discriminated against if deported (again).

Guyanese Peter Conrad Ali has just won the right to a fresh trial to keep him in the United States, reports Caribbean World News.

“Violent dangerous criminals and feminine contemptible homosexuals are not usually considered to be the same people,” said the first judge who was ruled to be ‘prejudiced’.

And you know what? Caribbean people are sufficiently ‘civilised’ as to reserve greater prejudice for the fact that should he return home, Ali would be a three-time deportee.
