Police cracking down on Jamaica-Haiti guns for drugs trade

Bad news if you like this stuff (and live in Haiti). Police have destroyed (yes, burnt) 1,000 pounds of ganja in St Elizabeth, together with one hectare of fully grown plants and 10,000 seedlings, reports RJR News.

The good news is that the ganja was, according to police, going to be shipped to Haiti, part of the burgeoning guns for drug trade which is helping to feed our murder rate, not just hungry mouths.

Police said the amount of was just part of a larger shipment. We’re not qualified to do the math but that’s likely to mean a lot of guns. As for the local weed crop, lets just say 1000 pounds isn’t exactly going to have the farmers in St Bess scrambling to harvest tomatoes.

So next time you smoke this…
